  • MSBSD 2015-2016 REGISTRATION OPEN

    Due to system maintenance, through July 15, you may experience delays in online registration. Online registration for all Mat-Su students, returning or new to our District, including kindergarten students,begins online June 1. Registration for all fall athletics opens July 15. Payment of all course and activity fees will also begin July 15.

    The 2015 Student Summer Worker application period is available on Applitrack. Four work crews will be hired during the interview process.           1. Access the registration form through your i-Parent account. (District # 0033)
          2. Log in, select a student, click on "Registration Form" and follow our How To Document
          NEW to the district/Don't currently have an iParent Account:

          1. Go to the main i-Parent Page and click on the "Registration Form" link on the left side
          2. Follow the instructions on our How To Document
          ALL students new to the district are to provide the following to the school prior to attending class:

          1. Birth Certificate

          2. Immunization Record in compliance w/ the State of Alaska School Immunization Requirements
          3. Health Registration Form (Physical)
          4. High School Students: Out of district transcript
          * If transferring, please make sure to fill out the student records request form for your previous school.

          ** If you would like to create an iParent Account please complete this survey and our HelpDesk will email you instructions on how to do so. You may also request this information from your school.

        District News

        • Arrow MSBSD START TIMES - 2015-2016
          School start and end times will remain the same for the 2015-2016 school year. Elementary schools time is 9:15 to 3:45, and middle/secondary schools time is 7:45 to 2:15. There are exceptions for northern schools: Willow start time is 8:20 and dismissal at 3:00 on M, Tu, Th, Fri, and dismissal at 1:40 on Wed. Talkeetna begins at 8:30 with dismissal at 3:00 on M, Tu, Th, Fri, and dismissal on Wednesdays at 1:40. Trapper Creek begins at 8:30 and dismissal at 3:00. Su Valley Jr/Sr High School begins at 8:30 and dismissal is at 2:54. Also, if your child attends one of our six charter schools, confirm the time with your school.

        • Arrow HELP MSBSD "STUFF THE BUS"
          School is two weeks away and many students in the Mat-Su Valley do not have the resources they need for their first day of school. That’s exactly what Stuff the Bus is aiming to help with. July 31 is a Day of Action! Partnering with United Way of Mat-Su, the MSBSD will be filling backpacks in the old Carrs parking lot in Palmer, providing school supplies for Valley kids. The following items are needed for donations; backpacks, spiral notebooks, pencils,and pens. Families needing school supplies for their students can call746-9239 for more information.
