ONLINE ABSENCE REPORTING AVAILABLE ON iPARENT
Parents now have a method to report online student absences. A written note or telephone call is still acceptable, but online reporting is easy through iParent. Parents know the reason for the absence. It is a way for schools to accurately report and track data on student absences
Boundary requests will be accepted until May 1, 2014. Forms can be obtained from the MSBSD website or from the front office at any school. If your student is on a current Boundary Exemption for HMS, you will need to fill another one out for next year. Please contact Mrs. Aldeman at 892-9505 with any questions.
Due to a sudden increase in the number of students we have being picked up for early release, we need parents to update current lists. Please verify in your i-Parent account the contacts that you have listed for authorized pickups. If there is someone not on your list that you want to have authorized for your student, you can add them through your i-Parent account. Once you have logged into your account any changes can be done by opening up the registration form for the current school year and submitting the family information first. You will then be able to access your student’s information to add or delete any authorized contacts for pick up.
We WILL NOT release your child to anyone not on your pick up list. Please take a look at your address and phone numbers to make sure that they are correct as well. If you do not have an i-Parent account, have a computer at home or you need assistance on updating your information, please contact the school’s Registrar, Mrs. Aldeman at 892-9505. You are always welcome to use our computers in the counseling office. https://iparent.matsuk12.us:8443/iparent/
