School Safety is a number one priority for the MSBSD. The School Board has goals that direct the work of the District. 2016 Burchell High graduate, Caleb Beauvais, was awarded the $10,000 BP Alaska DEED Commissioner's Scholarship in conjunction with the Alaska Principal Foundation. Attending Mat-Su College, Caleb was selected for his "tenacity and self-reflection." Jason Marvel is BHS Principal. Read more...

Willow Elementary is a Title I funded school, and receives federal funds to help support our students. The STEPP (Steps Towards Educational Progress and Partnerships) Plan is our evolving document which details Willow Elementary's plan to support students. This plan is updated frequently, and we encourage parents as partners to help guide us in how we can achieve success for all of our students. Please watch for more information on meeting dates and times as we'd love to have your support.
