  • Online Absence Reporting Available on iParent
    Parents now have a method to report online student absences. A written note or telephone call is still acceptable, but online reporting is easy through iParent. Parents know if the absence is excused and for what reason. It is a way for schools to accurately report and track data on student absences.

        - School times are from 9:15 AM to 3:45 PM 
        - Please do not drop off your student prior to 9:00 AM

        - Students should be picked up no later than  3:55 PM

        - Elementary Lunch price is $2.95
        - For the 2012-2013 school year, Nutrition Services is not offering free breakfast to all students. If your family qualifies for free or reduced lunch, there is no charge for breakfast.
        -Students may purchase a breakfast for $1.60
        -If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the front office at 352-9400

        Tanaina Announcements

        • Thank you to Mat-Su Health Foundation for grant money to support
          a KIDS MARATHON at Tanaina Elementary School.
          This is a non-competitive, non-timed event about having fun and making it to the finish line.

        • The first quarter has come and gone with Tanaina Elementary School students doing a fantastic job in the classroom and with their extra-curricular activities.  The remainder of the year looks to be just as promising.  Good luck Tanaina and continue the hard work.

          MSBSD Website users may have already discovered mobile web app delivery of our site when they are on their smart phone.  The mobile web app, giving parents and the community quick access to contact information, calendar features, up-to-date news and other features, is now online.  Just visit www.matsuk12.us on your smart phone.  Watch for schools to be added over the next month too!

        • Arrow MSBSD START TIMES REMAIN SAME FOR 2012-2013!
          School start and end times will remain the same for the 2012-13 school year as this school year. Elementary schools time is 9:15 to 3:45, and middle/secondary schools time is 7:45 to 2:15.
