        Shaw Announcements

        • swimmer The Wasilla Pool staff will once again be providing swimming lessons for Shaw Elementary students. The lessons will be two days a week for four weeks beginning February 10th to March 4th. (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)  Cost is $70.00.
The students will be bussed one-way from Shaw Elementary to Wasilla Pool, but parents must pick up their child from the pool at 5:10 p.m.
Enrollment for lessons are limited to the first 30 children that are registered. Registration is first come, first served and tends to fill up quickly.  You need to stop by the Wasilla Pool office to register your child, this is NOT done at the school.

Volunteers are needed!  We will need two adult volunteers: one to ride the bus and take attendance, and the other to give the first volunteer a ride back to the school.  These volunteer positions are very important, since the lessons will not happen without an adult on the bus.  A $60.00 gift certificate from Wasilla Pool will be given to volunteers upon completion of the lessons.  Anyone interested in volunteering please contact a Wasilla Pool employee when you come to register your child.
