Name: Mr. Jeff Parsons
Jeff Parsons joins the CTHS staff with 22 years of teaching experience. After graduating from Natrona County High School in Casper, Wyoming, Jeff attended the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley, Colorado, where he received his teaching degree in English Literature and French. Teaching middle school English, Reading and Math in Colorado was his passion, but Alaska called with new opportunities in the Oil Patch in the early 80’s. After starting a family, in the middle 80’s, Jeff returned to teaching at Houston Jr/Sr High School for seventeen years.
Jeff is excited to be working with sophomores teaching reading and writing skills at CTHS. He knows that students who master speaking, writing and reading skills in high school succeed in all technical and professional endeavors.
