Name: Mr. John Notestine
John Notestine is a member of the CTHS English department. After graduating from Sturgis High School, John attended St. John’s University, Minnesota where he received a degree in English. After working a year in the corn fields of Michigan, John attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks and received his teaching certificate. John completed his internship teaching at Ben Eielson Jr./Sr. High School. His first year of teaching was at Jimmy Huntington Jr./Sr. High School in Huslia, Alaska. He then taught one year at Lakeland High School in Lagrange, Indiana and the last three years at CTHS.
John is excited to be working in the English department at CTHS. He knows that we will all be a part of the career workforce as adults, we just need to be secure that we made the right choice in the type of career. Once there, knowing the expectations and ethics on the job will provide the customer service required to operate a successful business.
