Name: Mr. Kristich
Tony Kristich has been teaching computers and mathematics in Alaska for 20 years. After working one year as long term substitute teacher in the Bering Strait School District, he taught computer applications and computer science at Houston Jr./Sr. High School. Tony spent two years in Juneau, where he earned his masters in Education Technology and taught in the Phoenix program at Juneau Douglas High School. He returned to the Mat-Su Valley, where he taught mathematics at Palmer High School for 10 years. He has been at CTHS since it opened 3 years ago.
Tony enjoys working at CTHS and focusing on teaching how mathematics connects to the world around us. In this fast-changing world, understanding mathematics is crucial for today’s students to become informed and productive citizens of our society.
