Donna Carollo began teaching in 1996 after graduating with a degree in Biology from Tulane University in New Orleans. Donna taught Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Physical Science in New Orleans, LA and Austin, TX before relocating to the Mat-Su Valley in 2005. Additionally, Donna ran a gymnastics school for 5 years and was a staff naturalist at the Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans.

Donna is the proud mother of 2 boys, Giovanni Franco Carollo, born January 8th, 2008 and Leonardo Salvatore Carollo born October 27, 2009.  Donna is married to Jeff Carollo who teaches Biology, Physics and Chemistry at Valley Pathways High School. Donna is originally from New Orleans and is a huge New Orleans Saints fan. In 2005 Donna graduated from University of Texas at Brownsville with a Master's in Educational Technology.

In addition to her passion for teaching science and football she loves to camp, fish, hike, garden and cross country ski.
