Welcome  to Mr. Belangers 7th Grade Science & Geography

{Atigun Pass}
I am a born and raised Alaskan. I lived in Anchorage all my life and have lived in the valley for 7 years. I love the outdoors and sports. My favorite sport is hockey and I still play when I am not officiating local games. Its one of the best exercises I get to do.
{Army}
I spent 8 years in the US Army as a UH-60 Blackhawk crewchief and was sent to the Gulf War from Germany. I was awarded the Air Medal for flying in hostile airspace during the conflict.  After returning home I began a family and decided to return to Alaska. I hold a certificate for aviation maintenance and powerplant from Embry Riddle Aeronatical University. I have worked on small and large aircraft for  more than 15 years. I love to teach about forces and aeronatics in my classes. I also enjoy Marine Biology and am a P.A.D.I. certified diver.
 I have taught Geography, Physical Science and Life Science at PJMS for 7 years. I love the students and staff at PJMS and have fun working here. I encourage all kids to stop by and say "hi" to me.
