The Public Information Office is committed to facilitating superior communication within the district between the district and its community members. The office manages media relations for the school system, handles information requests, promotes internal communications for staff and employees, and produces a variety of publications for parents, students, community members, and business partners. Available--an online newsletter for parents and community members about district initiatives and useful information for parents and community stakeholders--MSBSD Inside. Current issues and archived back issues available for reading.
The department recognizes its responsibility to take a leadership role in educational stewardship by promoting community awareness, initiating participation, and increasing community involvement.
